Peer Review Policy
Aljabel Journal of Humanities and Applied Sciences employs a Double-Blind Peer Review system to ensure the objectivity, quality, and scientific integrity of published research. This process aims to rigorously evaluate and improve the quality of research prior to publication.
Peer Review Process Steps:
-
Initial Submission: Authors submit their manuscripts to the journal.
-
Initial Screening: The editorial team conducts an initial check to ensure the manuscript aligns with the journal's scope, submission requirements, and is free from plagiarism using similarity detection software.
-
Reviewer Assignment: If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is sent to at least two expert reviewers in the research field, with both author and reviewer identities concealed from each other.
-
Review: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific significance, methodology, results, discussion, and clarity of writing. Reviewers provide their recommendations (accept, accept with minor revisions, major revisions, reject).
-
Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' reports, the Editor-in-Chief or handling editor makes the final decision regarding the publication of the manuscript.
-
Revisions: If revisions are required, reviewer comments are sent to the authors for necessary modifications.
-
Final Acceptance and Publication: After all revisions and approvals are met, the manuscript is formally accepted for publication.
Guidelines for Reviewers:
-
Objectivity and Confidentiality: Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts with complete objectivity and confidentiality, without disclosing any information related to the research.
-
Competence: Reviewers must be qualified and possess sufficient expertise in the research area they are reviewing.
-
Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that might influence their judgment.
