Authorship Policy
Aljabel Journal of Humanities and Applied Sciences' authorship policy defines the necessary criteria for an individual to be considered an author of a research paper, ensuring proper recognition of intellectual contributions and responsibility for the published work. We adhere to international recommendations for publication ethics.
Authorship Criteria:
Every listed author must meet all four of the following criteria:
-
Substantial Contribution: Made substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work, or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work.
-
Drafting or Critical Revision: Drafted the work or revised it critically for important intellectual content.
-
Final Approval: Approved the final version of the manuscript to be published.
-
Accountability for the Work: Agrees to be accountable for all aspects of the work, ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.
Author Order:
The order of authors is determined by agreement among all contributors and typically reflects the extent of their contribution to the research. The corresponding author must ensure that all authors have approved their final order.
Contribution Disclosure:
The journal encourages authors to disclose each author's specific contributions (e.g., study design, data collection, analysis, drafting, review) in a separate section within the manuscript, if feasible.
Changes to Authorship:
Any addition, deletion, or change in the order of authors after the initial submission must be made with written agreement from all currently listed authors and those being added or removed, along with a clear justification to the journal.
