Plagiarism Policy

Aljabel Journal of Humanities and Applied Sciences is committed to combating plagiarism to ensure the originality and academic integrity of all published research. We consider plagiarism a serious breach of research ethics.

Core Principles:

  • Plagiarism Detection: All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous screening using the Turnitin plagiarism detection software.

  • Permitted Similarity: The maximum allowed similarity or quotation percentage in any manuscript must not exceed 25%.

  • Definition of Plagiarism: Plagiarism includes (but is not limited to) the following:

    • Presenting someone else's work as your own.

    • Copying substantial portions of published or unpublished texts without proper citation.

    • Paraphrasing others' ideas without attributing the source.

    • Improper use or complete lack of referencing.

    • Self-plagiarism: Reusing significant portions of your previously published work without proper citation.

  • Actions Taken: In the event of any form of plagiarism being detected, the journal will take appropriate actions, which may include:

    • Immediate rejection of the manuscript.

    • Notifying the author's institution.

    • Imposing a ban on the author from future publications in the journal.
