Libya through foreign writings - European - as a model - 19th century AD

, has been characterized by exaggeration and superficiality in its attempt to distort and falsify historical Western historical literature, in general facts when writing about issues related to the history of Libya, especially the period in which Libya witnessed the influence of Western elitists during the occupation on an idea that arose to rewrite the history of North Africa as laying the foundations for the emergence of colonial histography or the so-called Western school. Historicism, which was written with a lot of falsification, distortion, and deliberate focus on specific historical periods and neglecting others, led to the writings losing objectivity and constructive scientific presentation. Most of the studies and explorations were not devoid of seriousness and important research, which aims to highlight the scientific, geographical, geological, and monographic value that we urgently need, which makes us search their writings so that we may distinguish the values from them. In this intervention, we are trying to review some Western studies, despite their many, that pertain to Libya.
The choice of the topic of Libya through foreign or Western writings is mainly due to the richness of these studies in terms of information and data, and it is considered an important gain in socio-anthropology for researchers, interested people, scholars and others, which gives us a comprehensive view of the history of Libya. Some of these studies have transcended the colonial tendency and subjectivity. We can say that it was characterized by a kind of seriousness because it was monographical and ethnographic in nature.
