Abstract

This study aimed to identify the level of emotional regulation among university students, as well as to identify the differences in emotional regulation according to gender (males/females) and academic specialization (psychology, science, medical technology). To collect the study data, the researchers used the emotional regulation scale on a sample of 92 students from Omar Al-Mukhtar University for the academic year 2024/2025. The results of the current study indicated that the study sample members enjoyed a good level of emotional regulation. It also showed no differences in emotional regulation based on gender. However, the study found differences based on major, favoring psychology students
