Personality traits and their relationship to academic performance among students of the Faculty of Education, Al-Qasi'a - Tarhuna

The current study aims to reveal the relationship between personal traits and academic performance. The sample consisted of (60) male and female students from the College of Education, Al-Qasi’a - Tarhuna, including (10) male students and (50) female students. The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach as it is the most appropriate for the nature of this study. The standard tools used were the Personal Traits Scale (Kawthar Jabara) and Academic Performance Scale (Baraq Al-Rifai). The study concluded that there is a correlation at a significance level of 0.05 between the personal traits and their academic performance. The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences in the gender variable among the sample members in favor of males. The researcher will develop a set of recommendations and proposals that help in overcoming difficulties and achieving plans and goals in educational institutions.
