Data Sharing Policy
Aljabel Journal of Humanities and Applied Sciences believes in the importance of research data sharing to enhance transparency, reproducibility, and support scientific discovery. The journal encourages authors to make primary or supplementary data supporting their research publicly available whenever possible.
Core Principles:
-
Encouragement of Sharing: We strongly encourage authors to make datasets, code, or other relevant materials that contribute to the understanding or replication of the published research openly available.
-
Deposition Location: Authors can deposit their data in trusted and open public data repositories (e.g., Dryad, Figshare, Zenodo, or institutional repositories) and cite the data's Digital Object Identifier (DOI) in their manuscript.
-
Confidentiality and Privacy: When sharing data, authors must ensure the protection of individual privacy and the confidentiality of sensitive information, adhering to relevant regulations and ethical standards.
-
Disclosure in Manuscript: Authors must clearly indicate in the "Materials and Methods" or "Data Availability" section of their manuscript whether data is available, where it can be accessed, or why it is not available (if applicable).
-
Benefits of Sharing: Data sharing contributes to increased research transparency, enables others to verify findings, facilitates meta-analyses, and accelerates the pace of scientific innovation.
