Challenges facing Libyan youth in keeping pace with the knowledge society

This study aimed to identify the knowledge economy, and to know the most important social challenges facing young people to keep pace with the knowledge society, so that it sheds light on the knowledge society, being a relatively recent term, and its role in the economy.
The study relied on the descriptive approach through a social survey by selecting a simple random sample of students enrolled in the graduate studies program, Department of Sociology, College of Arts, Al-Marqab University, with a sample of (45) individuals. As for the data collection tool, a closed questionnaire was chosen. The study reached several results, the most important of which are the following:
1- The family’s lack of understanding of the knowledge society is one of the most important social challenges facing Libyan youth in keeping pace with this society, as the percentage of those who agreed with this statement reached 75%.
2- The card, especially for graduates, is the most important economic challenge, as the approval rate reached 78%.
3- The political struggle for power, the most important political challenge, and the approval rate was 69%.
4- The sterility of educational curricula and their failure to keep up with the times, as the approval rate reached 80%.
5- Weakness of the Internet, and the approval rate was 67%.
